The OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200, gives workers the right to know about the chemical hazards they work with. Employers must keep a written hazard communication program, label containers, keep Safety Data Sheets (SDS) available, and train workers before they are exposed to hazardous chemicals. HazCom is one of the most cited OSHA standards every year.
