Telehandlers lift loads out and up on a boom, so a mistake with stability, the load chart or an attachment can end in a tip-over. This course covers the knowledge an operator needs before operating one.

The course is built for new operators, experienced operators who want a refresher, and supervisors on construction, warehouse and industrial sites.
It has 8 modules: telehandlers, the rules and your training; machine types, components and controls; stability and leveling; reading the load chart; attachments, suspended loads and personnel platforms; pre-use inspection; traveling and placing loads; and power lines, refueling, parking and your employer's evaluation. Six embedded videos support the lessons, including one about crane work near power lines that is captioned as such.
The course is 100% online and self-paced and works on desktop, tablet or phone. You can stop and continue anytime, and your progress saves automatically. It ends with a 25-question final exam (pass mark 80%, unlimited free retakes, highest score counts). When you pass you can download a certificate of completion. The course is in English only.
